The existing website didn't have a dedicated episode system. New viewers needed a clear path from watching the show to finding an episode online, then exploring the full restoration story in one structured recap.
I created a reusable episode structure that made recurring content familiar to navigate while giving every restoration room for its own story.

A repeatable hierarchy organizes each long-form recap into a room-by-room restoration story.
Partner mentions live inside the restoration story, with a dedicated reference later in the same recap.
The same brand experience also needed to extend into commerce and publishing. I designed and built the Shop and Book experiences in Shopify using Shogun, while the core show and episode experience lived in WordPress.

I worked directly with the client and another designer from page structure and wireframing through visual design and responsive layouts. The core show and episode experience was built in WordPress; I designed and built the Shop and Book experiences in Shopify using Shogun.
The work introduced a reusable episode structure and a clearer path from television into the existing Cheap Old Houses digital experience, while supporting the brand's expansion into merchandise and publishing.
